You have been playing golf~ You’ve been a golfer }fora number of years and now you are actually starting to understand the game. You have been taking lessons and your game has improved. You’ve lowered your scores by taking lessons and practicing on the range. However, you are still using the same set of clubs that you bought off the rack at the local store or an old set you picked up from one of your fellow golfers . So now you are wondering if a set of custom made golf clubs can help lower your handicap . Most people who are not familiar with the game’s intricate details probably think that all clubs are made alike . Well, this would be the same thing as saying that every person is built the same way – pretty crazy huh . A golf club, while having the same general specifications for each club in terms of respective shaft length and loft , are very different when comparing one make to another. This is because clubs can be made to fit the swing characteristics of each individual golfer which can help them capitalize on the attributes of their swing . For example , if a person is taller than 6 foot 2 inches or shorter than 5 foot 7 inches then clubs should likely be made either longer or shorter in length in order for the golfer to achieve the correct swing plane with their clubs . If the clubs are too short, then a person has to bend over more than necessary to hit the golf ball properly . This changes their swing plane and, by this very nature , will change the distance the golf ball can carry . If the clubs are too long, the golfer will have to chokeup on the golf club in order to swing around their body properly which will tend to hinder the swing. Another charactersitic that will dramatically affect how the golf ball travels is the flex of the golf club in relation to how fast the golf swings the club . If a golfer has a slow swing speed , then the shaft needs to have more flex in order to get the ball airborne . If the club is too stiff, then the golfer will be unable to get the club square at impact either and will just end up with a slice . A golfer with a fast swing speed will need clubs that have less bend or flex in the shaft. If the club is too flexible , then the shaft will tend to roll over at impact and the golfer will generally just end up hooking the ball . So shaft flexibility is another reason why custom fit golf clubs is the the best approach for many golfers. When it comes to golf club shafts, there are a ridiculus number of various shafts on sale today. Each one has its own particular specifications in terms of flex (how far it bends), flex point ( the point at which it bends), and torque (the level of shaft twist ). Each spec will affect how the golf ball launches from the club face at impact depending on the swing tempo and how upright or flat the swing of the golfer. Matching the specs of the golf club shaft to the golfer is part of the custom fitting process.
Hitting your pitch shots in golf can be difficult if you don’t know your doing it wrong. You may hit the ball okay, good, great, or either thin. You want to improve your swing and contact with the ball without hitting the ball to thin. So you need to practice certain drills. So here we go!
You need to have 6 tees and placed on the ground, about 2 golf-club head widths between each tee. Place your ball on the second, forth, and sixth tee. You should play the first tee just like you would any other pitch, and take your swing. You want to try and knock your tee out of the ground. Your swing will be the same throughout the forth and sixth pitch. Your pitch shots in golf will get better if you practice doing this I have practiced this drill before and it works great.
Why is this important? This gets you in a habit to swing down when pitching the ball. This will keep you from hitting up and catching the shot thin. You want to drive the target side of your ball into the grass. You will make better contact with the ball when pitching.
You can also practice your pitch shots with your right heal raised off the ground. The majority of your weight will be on your left foot. You will be positioned forward and it will convey a downward strike, hitting the ball in front of it, and not behind it.

The Harley Davidson golf cart is a great, old buggy and those who have one consider themselves lucky. This particular vehicle has not been in production for several decades now, and this often means those buying one will not have the owner’s manual that goes with the vehicle. One of the most common mistakes made by new owners is improperly mixing the fuel and oil. Without the owner’s manual handy, this mistake is easy to understand. This article goes into how to properly mix the oil and fuel in a vintage Harley Davidson golf cart.
Before we go into the proper method for mixing the oil and fuel in a vintage Harley Davidson golf cart, let’s be clear about one thing. Improper mixing can lead to severe damage in the engine. Once this damage occurs it has to be repaired if you want to operate the vehicle. These repairs can be time consuming and expensive. While you can certainly find Harley Davidson golf cart repair parts online, it is not always easy finding them. When you do find them, the price may be high simply due to the scarcity of these old parts. The best way to avoid having to make these repairs is to protect the engine by using the right fuel and oil mix.
Now onto the proper way to mix the oil for your Harley Davidson golf car:
More often than not problems arise in this area because there is not enough two-cycle oil in the mix. When there is not enough oil in the mixture, the first thing that happens is that the piston begins to heat up, followed by increased heating of the other engine parts that are around the combustion chamber. This entire area is then prone to overheating which can lead to major damage to the engine if the motor is left to run for any length of time. In severe instances, the motor will lock up and will have to be rebuilt in order to bring it back to service.
In order to get the right mix in your Harley Davidson golf cart, you want to use 1.5 ounces of high grad 2-cycle oil for each gallon of gas. Note: Virtually all other 2-cycle gas engines use less than this which is why so many people are fooled into making this dreadful mistake.
If your Harley Davidson golf car has a recently rebuild engine, you want to use 3 ounces of good quality 2-cycle oil for each gallon of gas in the first tank of gas. Once this first tank is used up, decrease the oil to 1.5 ounces per gallon of gas. Keep in mind that this first tank (the one using 3 ounces of oil) may foul the plug. Be prepared to change out the plug before going to the second tank of gas. It is a lot less expensive to buy a new plug than it is to rebuild the engine.
Once you apply this mix to your Harley Davidson golf cart, you will be able to enjoy your vehicle without fear of burning the motor up. Take care of your vintage vehicle and don’t forget to pass it on to someone who will care for it as you do.
