Compare the club you purchased or purchasing to the photos which you see on their website, is the shape dissimilar Is the colour more faded compared to the photo you see on their website? Little things such as markings on the club handle, In addition to this make sure you check the  place  your club was or has been shipped from, the vast majority of counterfeit clubs are produced in China and Japan. Price is probably the most apparent solution in finding out if your club is authentic or counterfeit, if you  bought  your club for around  £20.00  when it is worth around £100.00 then it is clear the club will not be genuine.

A considerable amount of fraudsters have been caught recently , which  lowers  your chances of purchasing a counterfeit golf club, nevertheless be sure to check the four ways, as there will still be fraudsters out there  distributing  these clubs.
