Enjoyed by men, women and children alike, Golf is no longer just a gentleman’s game! Growing in popularity the sport is now enjoyed by all ages.
Are you a lover of the sport? If so you may find these helpful tips and tricks intended to benefit all golfers regardless of there ability to up your game.

Practice
Yes this one is standard but we need to state the obvious, practice is the key to perfection, and quality not quantity is the key! One hour a day four or five times a week will show dramatic improvements in your game. You will grow stronger and become more familiar with your abilities.

Attitude
Maintain a positive mental attitude for the entire round of golf. Stay confident, believe in your abilities, and if you do drop a shot or two, move on from it, don’t loose your cool, stay focused and move on positively. Become angry will cloud your focus and will negatively effect the rest of your round! Remember concentration and composure is essential for success!

Getting a Grip
There are a handful of different grip positions used by golfers, you should try out a few to see which you feel most comfortable with and most importantly, which one provides the best results. Your grip is the foundation of your golf swing so getting this right is essential for improving your game. Popular choices include the Vardon Overlap Grip, Interlocking Grip and the Ten Finger Grip.

The Backswing
Getting the Backswing correct sets the golfer in good stead for the rest of the swing, you are looking to keep your left arm straight (for those of us who are right handed, vice versa if you are a lefty) taking it as far back past your shoulder as you can without it bending or feeling uncomfortable.

Downswing
It is important to not rush your down swing, as your shot will be sloppy and weak. It is proper practice to gradually increase the speed of your swing from start to the end of your follow through. Good posture and balance will add to the power of your shot, so remember to position your feet more than waist distance apart!
By taking these tips into consideration you will be tipped for success! Good Luck, enjoy your round!
